Having graduated highschool at 17 in 2003 and immediately joining the hospitality industry in anguilla, there was no denying her absolute passion for beauty and all things fabulous! Ceejay taught herself the art of acrylic nails and spent time at a local salon picking up on skills because of her sheer passion for the art of beautification.

Since then owning her own beauty bar has been her dream. In 2008 she moved to the uk for 2 years to pursue certifications in various aspects of cosmetology. She returned home to anguilla and worked at some of anguilla’s finest resorts and gained valuable experience in customer service, guest relations and operations whilst simultaneously running her own home based nail bar.

Ceejay said “sometimes the path to your dream is not as straight forward as you may originally think it. However, with all the exprerience i have gained i felt ready to tackle the task of entrepreneurship. It’s going to be challenging but i feel equipped and look forward to sharing my passion for beauty with everyone.”

September 27th 2013 marked the opening of ceejay’s beauty bar, which will serve both local and visiting clientele at her trendy new central location at #15 on the groundfloor level of the caribbean commercial center (next to arian shipping) and through her mobile service (the only one on anguilla), with a wide variety of beauty services.

The launch event on the 27th was a success with both existing and potential clients checking out the location while enjoying wine and hors d’ouvres and sgning up for their vip rewards card. Vip members received gift boxes as a token of appreciaition and to mark the celebration of the new location.

A variety of beauty services are being offered from manicures and pedicures, to nail extentions and artistry. In the coming months a full makeup bar, waxing, brows&lashes, facials etc…will also be on offer.
Ceejay said “this is not a spa although it is relaxing and comfortable. This is a beautybar where busy, trendy, fabulous women and men come to enhance themselves as part of their lifestyle. Yes that’s it!….Coming to the beauty bar is a lifestyle experience. You get the very best quality treatment at a great cost while sipping on a glass of wine…Its definitely an experience.”
