The Anguilla Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation were among 21 Federations represented at the 41ST IFBB Central American and Caribbean Amateur and Fitness Championship Games held in Santo Domingo from Sept 19th to 23rd 2013.
The Anguilla team consisted of one Male Bodybuilder, 3 Male Physique and one Female Body fitness. The Officials were Joseph Pradel ABBFF President and IFBB Judge, Celestine Pradel IFBB Judge and Deidra Bell as the coach.
Mr. Anguilla 2013-2014, Geshaune Clarke competed in the Juniors and Light Middle weight Classes, MacWhirr Lewis and Kishon Rodgers competed in the Men’s Physique over 175cm Category, while Myron Connor competed in the 175cm Category and our reigning Ms. Anguilla Figure, Roxanne Pinnock competed in the Body Fitness over 168cm category.
In the finals on Sunday 22nd Geshaune Clark make a very impressive showing and placed 2nd out of a field of 12 athletes earning a Trophy. Similarly Roxanne Pinnock placed 4th in her category and Myron Connor 6th in their categories respectively.
Barbados Body Building and Fitness Federation, who was represented in every category, won the overall CAC Team Award for 2013.
In addition to the games there was a Judges seminar hosted by the IFBB official from out of Spain which Joseph and Celestine Pradel attended.
Selection of the host country for the 2014 CAC Championships Games was awarded to our neighboring island St. Martin.
The Anguilla Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation hope to represent Anguilla in a grand style and are encouraging all athletes to sharpen their skills for this competition On the other hand all ardent fans should plan to attend CAC in St. Martin with your flags, to witness raw Bodybuilding talent and to support Team AXA 2014.
