Anguillian centenarian, Mrs Ursilla Vanita Levons Connor (Na), is the recipient of a special Birthday Card from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.

The card, completely covered at the front with a photograph of the Queen, was presented by Her Excellency Governor Christina Scott at Government House on Tuesday this week in the presence of family members and friends.

Mrs Connor, who turned 100 years on August 29, read the text of the Queen’s message to her as follows: “I am so pleased to know that you are celebrating your 100 Birthday on the 29th of August 2013. I send you my congratulations and best wishes on such a special occasion.”

Asked how she would respond to the Queen, a smiling Mrs Connor said: “I love her and many thanks.”
