Mr. Trent T. North held a series of Education workshops last week with the members of the Education Department of Anguilla.
The Rotary Club of Anguilla was proud to host Trent T. North, Rotarian from Georgia, as a guest speaker, on August. 22nd.
Mr. North is the author of the book: “Forensic Leadership, Changing the Culture of a Nation”, a road map of lessons and diverse skill sets that he acquired during his multifaceted career.
Mr. North writes, “An effective leader in the new millennium must master the visionary aspects of leadership as well as its detailed components. The balanced combination of these two concepts comprises ‘Forensic Leadership’.” His plan for getting problems solved involves knowing the organization from the bottom up and engaging the administrative team as the responsible party….. the ones that are charged with laying out expectations and seeing that they are accomplished. His methods have proven results, as Georgia schools have been recognized for making the greatest gains on the state standardized tests and have received the prestigious Governor’s Gold award.
From humble beginnings growing up in the projects of Carrollton, Georgia, Mr. North has served in a broad variety of leadership roles, in Government, education and the private sector. At the age of 24 he was elected to the County Board of Commissioners where he has served the citizens for twenty years. Mr. North has a relevant and effective approach to leadership. He knows what works and how to go about getting the results that will lead to a better society.
