Last Friday afternoon, Her Excellency Governor Christina Scott, accompanied by the Minister of Home Affairs, the Honorable Jerome Roberts, the representative of the Sandy Hill District, paid a brief visit to Morlens Veterinary Hospital and the Anguilla Animal Rescue Foundation’s shelter.
Governor Scott, who has two cats rescued from a shelter in Great Britain, was shown the facilities of the Morlens Veterinary Hospital that include the exam and surgery areas, as well as the AARF shelter with separate facilities for dogs and cats. She was interested in the number of spays and neuters that AARF has provided for the public, this year, and the number of adoptions both locally and internationally.
