The Anguilla Government is in the process of working towards the development of a legislative and regulatory framework for the broadcasting and cable television sector.

Accordingly, a consultant has been recruited to undertake the assignment. She is Ms Nicole Foga of the consulting law firm FogaDaley. She is to provide legal consultancy services to assist the Government in developing the broadcasting legislation.
During her current visit she will be engaging in a series of meetings and consultations with stakeholders. They will include the Attorney General’s Chambers, Ministries of Government, broadcasters from both radio and television, cable operators and providers, video providers and other interested parties.

The Government has so far developed a National Broadcasting Policy for Anguilla in May this year. That document can be viewed on the Government’s website at www.gov.ai.

The Government is encouraging the public to view the document and all subsequent documents when they are posted on the website; and to send their comments directly to the consultant at foga@fogadaley.com or alternatively tocrefton.niles @ gov.ai.
