The Rotary Club of Anguilla, 7020 sent two delegates to The World Affairs Seminar at Carrol University, Wisconsin, USA.
The topic this year was: Gender Equity/Social Justice: Moral Imperative of our Time; June 15-21, 2013. The Delegates felt that the topic was timely, as the community in Anguilla is and has been very concerned with the protection of children from abuse and the importance of having legislature in place to handle cases of social injustice.
For ten years now, The Rotary Club of Anguilla has been participating in the World Affairs Seminar which is organised by several Rotary Clubs in Wisconsin. Melissa Harrigan and Tiffany Moore have returned to the island full of enthusiasm after attending the Seminar.
This year the Anguilla Rotary Club would like to thank Rotarian Jack Billingsley and the Rotary Club of Newark, Delaware for their sponsorship and continuous support.
