The Rotary Club of Anguilla and businessman Mr Alexander Fedee have donated a computer to the Albena Lake Hodge comprehensive School.

The special presentation was made at the Rotary’s Change of Board Luncheon on Saturday afternoon at La Vue.
The presentation was made to Chief Education Officer Mrs Rhonda Connor.

“Such initiatives are indicative that the Rotary Club appreciates the importance of education to nation building and acknowledges the fact that government cannot fund all the resources that are necessary. It shows that Rotary and Mr Fedee are aware of the importance of ICT to learning and teaching. And it supports the idea of CXC Registrar Dr Didacus Jules who always opines that we cannot continue to teach our digital children in analogue classes. The resource will go a long way in supporting teaching and learning at the Secondary School to the children in our special needs unit. We are indeed grateful,” she added.

The CEO expressed much gratitude to both the Rotary and Mr Fedee for the computer.
