POLICE REPORT NINE CRIMES; JUNE 26-JULY 3

The Police reported that nine crimes were committed in Anguilla during the period June 26-July 3.
Among them were seven thefts in Stoney Ground, Island Harbour, Shoal Bay, The Quarter and Rey Hill.
The stolen items included bicycles, a DVD player, a Blackberry cellular phone, an alternator and money.

One burglary was reported in The Valley and robbery was reported in South Hill.
There were nine arrests during the period as follows: three males to prevent a breach of the peace; two males for grievous bodily harm; two males on suspicion of theft; one male for possession of a firearm; and one male on a warrant in the first instance.
