Fifteen serious crimes were committed in Anguilla during the period July 17-24, according to the Police.
Of that number, there were seven thefts in Deep Waters, Long Bay, Blowing Point, The Quarter, North Side and The Valley.
BlackBerry cellular phones, a gas tank, an I-pod, a sum of money and goats were stolen.
One case of burglary was reported at Welches where money was stolen.
The Police reported that gunshots were fired in The Valley, Blowing Point and North Hill.
Eleven persons were arrested as follows: three males for possession of firearms and cocaine; one male for possession of cannabis; one male for causing grievous bodily harm; one male on a default warrant; one male for burglary; one female for theft; one female for bank fraud; one male for immigration purposes; and one male to prevent a breach of the peace.
There were four traffic accidents.
