Fifty-six students – 51 from Grade 6 and five from Special Needs – of the Orealia Kelley Primary School, will be attending the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School as from September this year.
The students graduated on Tuesday evening when the graduation ceremony was attended by a capacity crowd.
Principal at the Orealia Kelly School, Mrs Jasmine Thomas, urged the students to remain focus during their attendance at the Comprehensive School. Whether a good or bad situation confronts you, it is how you deal with it that counts,” the Principal told the 2013 Graduating Class. “Those who have a positive mentality can have extra positive moments and even bad moments will not be as bad as they could be, because they will see the bright side. Please stay focus.”
The feature address was delivered by Ms Jerriece Fleming, a former student at the school, now a graduate of the University of the Southern Caribbean in Trinidad.
