St. Kitts were considered the favourites because they boasted several overseas players from Canada, England and America. On the other hand, Anguilla was considered the underdogs mainly because of their size, but that only inspired them to work harder. The outstanding players for the Anguilla team were captain Coleen Johnson, Shadwa Richardson, Tamisha Richardson, Roxane Bradshaw, Jakeeda Bryan, Makaiba Reid, Labrisca Gumbs and Briana White. The team was coached by Colin Johnson and assisted by Leon Jeffers. The team was managed by Monica Guishard. Other Official members of the team were Dr. Frank Kofi team Medical Doctor and Nurse Diana Carty. The team now begins its preparation for the second round which will take place in either Puerto Rico or Jamaica in October.
