The Super Stars are the back to back knock out champions for 2013. In a thrilling final encounter on Sunday they defeated Lil Soldiers by a score of 1 goal to nil. After both teams were deadlocked at nil all at the end of the first half, striker Audriane Harrigan, latched on to a loose ball to hit pass helpless Davia Hodge in the soldiers goal. Both teams reached to the finals when Lil Soldiers defeated Shining Stars by one goal to nil after a Shanella Brown conversion on Sunday. On Wednesday Super Stars defeated De Youngsters on penalty kicks. De Youngsters netted first through a Bernisha Connor strike from close range. Coleen Johnson found the equalizer later for Super Stars to send the game into overtime, and penalty Kicks, Which was won by Super Stars by a score 4 goals to 2. Scoring for Super Stars were Melissa Carty, Coleen Johnson, Shadwa Richardson and Jurauni Vanterpool and scoring for De Youngsters were Janicia Thomas Carty and Shakeela Romney.
The final standings in the C.C.B and Social Security female football league for 2013 reads Shining Stars in 4th place with 5 points, De Youngsters in 3rd place with 8 points, Lil Soldiers in 2nd place with 8 points and Super Stars in 1st place with 11 points. So congratulations to Super Stars for winning the C.C.B and Social Security 2013 League and Knock out Championships once again.
