POLICE REPORT 2 THEFTS, 4 BURGLARIES

Seven crimes in Anguilla, a considerable reduction from last week, were reported by the Police for the period June 12-19.

Among those crimes were two thefts in The Quarter and Island Harbour where a goat and car parts were stolen. Four burglaries were reported at Rey Hill, Corito, Island Harbour and East End. The stolen items included a Cable TV converter and a sum of money. One attempted burglary occurred at George Hill.

Nine arrests were made during the period as follows: three males for possession of turtle meat (during the closed season); one male for possession of cannabis; one male for possession of a firearm; one male on a default warrant; one male and one female to prevent a breach of the peace; and one male on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
