LIME Anguilla has introduced the BlackBerry Q10, an upgraded multi-purpose handset, whose new technological features make it a competitive device in the local market.

LIME Anguilla’s General Manager, Mark Romney, told reporters at the press launch on Friday, June 14: “We are very much happy to be unveiling the second in the series of the new BlackBerry 10 and this one, of course, being the BlackBerry Q10. As you know, a couple weeks ago we did the BlackBerry Z10 and now it is the Q10.

“We are very much happy with the new BlackBerry 10 series. It offers much more than what we have had before in terms of the BlackBerry 7 series of phones. With the BlackBerry 10, it is a complete new way of life…One of the more important things, as many customers may wish to know, is the difference between BlackBerry Z10 and the BlackBerry Q10. It lies in what we call the keyboard. On the BlackBerry Q10, there is now the actual physical keyboard on the device whereas the Z10 is a full-touch screen device.” He explained that the new phone provided customers with the ability to respond better to emails in particular and or to do posts on the various social media. “It gives them more flexibility and, at the same time, the phone is much smarter. In other words, it will predict what are you are going to say in typing. It gives more speed, reliability and comfort.”

LIME Anguilla’s Marketing Manager, Jade Reymond, gave a further insight into the new BlackBerry phone series. “BlackBerry is driving a global campaign right now with the tag line ‘Keep Moving’. They are taking into consideration how they can make their customers’ lives easier, more efficient and productive. With that in mind, there are four new features that have been introduced with the 10 software. Those four features are the BlackBerry Hub, the Time Shift Camera, the Smarter Keyboard and a Video Calling and Screen Share introduced in the BBM aspect”. She went on to explain how each of the features serves to enhance the operations of the new BlackBerry phone system and the various technological benefits that customers can enjoy.

“We are now very enthusiastic about introducing the new BlackBerry Q 10 to our product services, and we think that our customers will enjoy all the features that the BlackBerry Q10 has to offer,” Ms Reymond added.
