Cable Communications today announces that it is donating digital cable TV service to the Princess Alexandra Hospital, and has teamed up with Mr. Kenneth Harrigan and Mr. Osbourne Flemming to offer 10 digital set-top boxes for placement in various locations throughout the hospital.
“We at Caribbean Cable Communications like to do our part to help the community, and what better way to do so than with the gift of great TV for the patients and visitors at the Princess Alexandra Hospital?” says Mrs. Shiannah Gumbs, Branch Manager, Caribbean Cable Communications, Anguilla. “We’re also grateful to Mr. Harrigan and Mr. Flemming for participating in this donation of ten digital set-top boxes. Digital cable TV will provide entertainment for the hospital patients and help them relax during their stay. It offers a huge and growing line-up to choose from, including high-definition channels; lots of sports; movies; news; children’s programming; cultural and regional channels; Spanish Channels; 50 music channels and so much more. There is something for every taste and age bracket, and we trust everyone will enjoy the new service.”
Mrs. Clavis Carter-Gumbs, Chief Operations Manager at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, says, “The management and staff of Princess Alexandra Hospital would like to express our gratitude to Mr. Harrigan, Mr. Flemming and to Caribbean Cable Communications for this kind gesture. Especially in today’s economic climate, this is something that is well appreciated by the members and staff of the health authority. It is a great benefit to the patients and the visiting public alike. We look forward to the continued relationship with CCC.”
Caribbean Cable Communications installed the new digital cable service free of charge at the hospital and is offering the service on an ongoing basis at no cost. Digital cable TV is now in all these areas of the hospital: the public ward; the clinics; the dental units; private patient rooms; the pediatrics section; the dialysis ward; the main lobby; and the elderly citizens’ home.
