The Anguilla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACOCI) in conjunction with CHARISMA Training & Development Center (a member of the Chamber) hosted an Armed Robbery & Awareness Workshop on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Anguilla Community College. A number of businesses participated in the successful workshop.
The workshop was facilitated by Mr. David McGregor. The purpose of the workshop was to provide potentially-life saving information and training that will reduce the risk or at least minimize the impact, both human and financial, of Armed Robbery. Crime in Anguilla as we know has escalated to the point where businesses should have the knowledge or be aware of how to prepare their management and staff of the potential danger that exists to their establishment.
The Board of Directors and Executive staff of the ACOCI would like to give special thanks to Police Officer Kaymony Jackson, of the Royal Anguilla Police Department, who provided his professional input and feedback during the workshop. His presence was well received and appreciated by the participants.
If your company or business is desirous of participating in a future Armed Robbery and Awareness workshop, please contact ACOCI at 497-2839.
