Anguilla, B.W.I—May 29, 2013 – The Anguilla Tourist Board is pleased to announce the successful turn-out received during the 2nd Annual Anguilla Lit Fest: A Literary Jollification, held May 23-27, 2013 at the Paradise Cove Resorts. Additionally, in support of the event, the tourist board’s public relations firm Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications (CAMC), co-hosted a group press trip to the destination to cover the festivities of the three-day festival and expose the writers to the unique vacation offerings available to savvy travelers.
Headlined by an award-wining lineup of authors that included renowned American poet, Nikki Giovanni, MSNBC host, Touré, Haitian American author Edwidge Danticat, the three-day event treated book lovers, literary connoisseurs and even Anguillan schoolchildren to informative workshops, stimulating seminars and dynamic presentations from the award-winning writers and celebrity authors.
