After a short lapse in reporting crimes, the Anguilla Police issued the weekly crime report on Wednesday, covering the period May 1-8.
The report showed that there were three thefts at South Hill, Shoal Bay and Little Dix. The stolen items included a play station game; a ladies’ purse with contents; and a sum of money.
The one case of burglary was reported at South Hill. Among the stolen items were cellular phones and jewellery.
There was one report of fraud which is under investigation.
Six persons were arrested during the period as follows: two males to prevent a breach of the peace; one female for conveying illegal items into Her Majesty’s Prison; one male on a default warrant; one for unlawful sexual intercourse; and one male on a bench warrant.
Five traffic accidents were reported during the period.
