Employees of the CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank in Anguilla were among their counterparts from the region recognised on Thursday 16th May, 2013 for their contributions to the financial institution.
CIBC celebrated May 16, 2013 worldwide as their Employee Appreciation Day.
CIBC FirstCaribbean with offices in 17 Caribbean countries also celebrated.
“We at CIBC FirstCaribbean are proud of you today,” Country Head Miss Marie Rey told the employees.
“We recognise you for the contributions you make every day, your warm and friendly smiles, the courteous service you extend to the CIBC FirstCaribbean customers every day, and for going the extra mile in these challenging times” said Ms Rey.
“Today, Employee Appreciation Day, is important because it recognizes that employees of the bank are its greatest assets and that none of its plans and programmes could be implemented successfully without its staff,” Ms Rey reminded her staff.
Each staff member was presented with small tokens of appreciation and a signed card by his or her manager.
