Anguilla will be joining with St. Martin, St. Maarten and St. Barths to co-host the prestigious “Women with Purpose Summit” from June 18th to 22nd, 2013. The summit, which is being organized and produced by Valerie Norman-Gammon of Amethyst Entertainment, will bring together 250 specially invited, multi-cultural, executive women from various professions and parts of the world for five exciting days of thought-provoking seminars, presentations and interactive sessions focusing on business-to-business endeavors and addressing key topics relevant to women across the globe.
Headlining the panel of powerful female executives and business leaders, will be CNN analyst, Soledad O’Brien, OWN Network life-coach, and award-winning author, Iyanla Vanzant, CNBC financial expert, Carmen Wong Ulrich and Entrepreneur, Author and Philanthropist, Sahar Hashemi of Great Britain. A number of specially selected executive women from Brazil, Dubai and other countries will also be lending their voices and experiences to the Summit.
Special features of the five-day program include lunch time presentations by keynote speakers, “We Mean Business” Roundtable discussions focusing on industry issues such as Diversity, Technology, Education, Coaching and Personal Branding, Tourism, Economic Empowerment and Philanthropy, and special interactive sessions aimed at Spiritual Enlightenment and Empowerment in the 21st century. In addition to the highly informative and educational daytime sessions, a number of evening soirees will take place, including the Grand Welcome Reception hosted by St. Maarten, St. Martin, Anguilla and St. Barths on June 18th at Bliss Restaurant, A Night to Remember, hosted by the St Martin Office du Tourisme on June 19th , An Unforgettable Evening, hosted by Saint Maarten Tourism Bureau on June 21st, and the Farewell Toast, hosted by St. Maarten, St. Martin, Anguilla and St. Barths on June 22nd at La Samanna Resort.
Anguilla will be showcased on June 21st, when the conference participants will be invited to spend a day on the island. Billed as a Spa Day, the program will feature exotic spa and body scrub treatments at Cuisinart Resort and Viceroy spas, followed by a lunchtime presentation at Cuisinart’s Italia Restaurant, entitled, “Oh..My Body!” focusing on the beauty and challenges of graceful aging. On June 22nd, the conference activities will conclude with a “Shop Til You Drop” day on St Barths showcasing the island’s exceptional shopping product.
