It is interesting that the Editor at The Anguillian sees it necessary to include a caveat at the end of Pastor Gumbs’ article. The truth is, he raises very valid points. It was only since 1975 that the American Psychological Association removed homosexuality as a mental disorder, so as Pastor Gumbs rightfully point out, “Yesterday gay marriage was unthinkable. Today it is celebrated.” People need to understand that you can hate the sin and love the sinner. After all, isn’t that what God does for all of us? Continue to speak out my brother; even if you are the only voice crying in the wilderness. If we stand for nothing, we will fall for anything.
