Cycling
On Sunday March 24th the Anguilla Cycling Association held its second race for the 2013 season at 3:15 pm. The race was held on the Jeremiah Highway (ten laps up and down, a distance of 75 kilometers) and involved 17 cyclists.

There were five sprint prizes. First sprint prize was won by Alreco Connor of Double Trouble Cycling Club. The other four sprint prizes ere won by Justin Hodge of Links Cycling Club.

The overall results of the race were:

1st place Justin Hodge (Crazy Legs) (10 points)
2nd place Devaughn Richardson (Baker) (9 points)
3rd place Benjamin Phillip (Dunga) (8 points)
4th place Vinesh Narine (7points)
5th place Joseph Hercules (6 points)
6th place Timothy Richardson (5 points)
7th place Alreco Connor (4 points)
8th place Bienvenito Pappie (Carti) (3points)
9th place Ronnie Bryan (2 points)
10th place Sherwin Osborn (1point)

The Anguilla Cycling Association would like to thank all cyclists for taking part in the race and also the donors, supporters and fans. Special thanks to the Royal Anguilla Police Force for a job well done in guiding the traffic, and to others who helped to make the race a great success.
The next race is scheduled for April 14th 2013. More details will follow.

Volleyball
The Business League continued over the weekend with three matches played on Friday and Saturday night. Below are the results:

Matches continue this weekend at the JRWP Volleyball Court beginning 7pm.
Basketball
The Lime Basketball National League is off and running. The knockout tournament took place on Friday 22nd March. It was won by the New Breed team. There were a total of 9 teams participating in the knockout. The regular season began on Saturday and games will be played on weekends as well as on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Boatrace
The annual Solaire Cup boat race took place on Sunday 24th March 2013 at Meads Bay.

The results are as follows:
1st REAL DEAL
2nd WIZARD
3rd TREE
4th BLUEBIRD
5th STINGER

A race will be held on Saturday April 30th for B class boats as part of the Festival del Mar activities.

The Elliot Webster boat race will take place on Sunday; and on Monday will be the Egbert Connor boat race. Both events are for A Class boats only.
