reminds me of scary legacies of the past, in which those in a position
of oppressing others justified their acts with the Bible. Just like
those whom you condemn, those who preach hate and lack of tolerance will
also have to answer to God for the part they played in promoting
propaganda that leads to the merciless slaying and torture of those who
are sexual minorities. God is love and tolerance…not bigotry. As a
Christian, I pray for the day when those whom I love will not be victims
of hate crimes and for the day when self-proclaimed good Christians use
their time to help those in need rather than spend it writing
incendiary gossip/opinion pieces.
