Two of the highlights of Special Education Week 2013 were the Official Opening Ceremony of the D.O.V.E. Centre at the Alwyn A. Richardson Primary School on Thursday, March 14; and a two-day Special Education Exhibition at the Orealia Kelly Primary School Auditorium which commenced the day before.

The week of activities began with a service under the tent of the Seventh-day Adventist Church at The Valley on March 9.

The exhibition featured the work of students at the Blossom Centre; Adrian T. Hazell Special Education Needs Centre; the D.O.V.E. Centre; Orealia Kelley Special Education Needs Centre; The Valley Primary School Special Education Needs Centre; and Campuses A and B of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School.
