ANGUILLA TOURIST BOARD ANNOUNCES Selection of Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications as New North American Representative

Monday, February 04, 2013—“The Anguilla Tourist Board is very pleased to announce the selection of Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications to run our North American sales, marketing and public relations operations,” said Mr.M. Foster Rogers, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Economic Development, Investment, Commerce and Tourism. “After an extensive review, and on-island presentations, the choice of this established, innovative team was obvious. We are looking forward to working with the entire team and with their help, to ensure Anguilla’s superb tourism offerings are communicated to the right markets, strengthening our position as the premier luxury destination of choice in the Caribbean”Cheryl Andrews Marketing Communications, based in Coral Gables, Florida, has an outstanding reputation for creative and effective public relations and marketing, with nearly three decades of representing hotels and resorts both large and small as well as a number of Caribbean and Latin American tourism boards. The award winning PR agency has a partnership with The Travel Marketing Network, headed by Tim Grace, well known for his marketing work with the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association. Together, CAMC and TTMN have an unparalleled level of knowledge and expertise of marketing the Caribbean. CAMC/TTMN has offices in Miami, Houston and Toronto and expects to open a New York office within the next month.

Mr. Rogers also paid tribute to Mrs.Marie Walker of Turnstyle Marketing who has represented Anguilla in the United States and Canada with distinction for the last nine years, contributing to the development of the island’s vibrant tourism sector. He wished her every success in her future endeavours.
