The 41st Anniversary of the Royal Anguilla Police Force will be observed with a week of activities from Sunday, January 27, to Saturday, February 2.
Police Week 2013 will have as its theme: “Celebrating Our Achievements, Recognising Our Challenges, Embracing Our Alliances”. Commissioner of Police, Rudolph Proctor, commenting on the event, said he was pleased that members of the public were included as alliances of the police not only because their support was needed, but that a number of them were now actually assisting the officers in their crime-solving work.

The formal activities will be preceded on Friday, January 25, with a Unity Jam at the Commercial Complex in The Valley; a Commissioner of Police Domino Final at Police Headquarters on Saturday, January 26, commencing at 12 noon; followed at 2.00 pm by Sports Day activities between teams representing the Anguilla Police and the Voluntary Korps Service (VKS) in St. Maarten.
