In their tributes the parliamentarians spoke in honour of the role Mrs. Lake played in the Anguilla Revolution which has been a significant contributor to the freedom and progress of the island and its people.

The speakers stressed that Government’s decision to hold a National Funeral for the fallen heroine was a fitting tribute to her. They also spoke highly about members of Mrs. Lake’s family to whom they offered their condolences.
