30th Anniversary 1982-2012:
Three Decades of Professional Excellence
30th November 2012
Mr. Timothy A. Hodge
Director
Social Security Office
The Valley
Anguilla
Dear Mr. Hodge,
As you celebrate your 30th Anniversary, I take this opportunity to say thank you for the indelible mark the organization has made in my life.
Social Security was my first place of permanent employment; it was where I learnt about setting objectives and meeting them, being a team player, respect for another’s ability in achieving the organization’s goal, that you always need persons around who speak words of encouragement, believe in you and encourage you to fulfill your dreams.
Your presence in the Anguillian Community is analogous to a tree. Just as a tree is known by the fruit it bears, or the shade it provides or the strength of its roots so has the Social Security Board contributed directly and indirectly to the citizens and the community (bearing fruit), offering a form of financial protection to the contributors and non-contributors in time of need (shade) and stability in times of uncertainty (roots).
While I have moved on I have not, nor can I forget the contribution the Social Security Board has made in my life.
Happy 30th Anniversary. I wish you many more years of productivity and pray the organization continues to make a positive impact in the lives of the citizens.
Yours sincerely,
Vernette S. Richardson
