FWD dancing with stars

The Valley, Anguilla – 1st December, 2012–Telecoms provider, LIME, has partnered with From Within Dance (FWD) Company for the inaugural staging of FWD Dancing with the Stars.
The opening, which took place on last Friday (30th November), was a well-attended and successful event, showcasing Anguillan talent in a different and innovative way. With FWD Founder, Ms Amber Woodley, and her production team sparing nothing in the execution there is little wonder the event was a fantastic experience for all who attended.
The event, which pairs popular entertainers with professional dancers and puts them against each other, showcased 7 Local artistes, representing different genres of music. They were put in groups that were identified by colours.

Coupled with professional dancers from the FWD Dance Company, the artistes presented a performance for one and a half minute, of either Soca or Salsa genre. The show was judged by three individuals, namely,Kerith Kentish,Gina Grell and Loren Hunt who will combine their score with the votes that each contestant receives from the audience.
The audience, votes by texting the colour of their favourite couple to 3100 (Text cost EC$1). Every Month, one couple will be eliminated until the finale in May 2013. The first show, no one will be eliminated, however, the couple with the highest score will have 5 points added to the next showcase.
