Forty-Fourth Governance Meeting of CXC In Anguilla

The Ministry of Education is pleased to host the 44th Governance Meetings of the Caribbean Examinations Council. This is first time in the forty year history of CXC that Anguilla will host the meetings. The Ministry of Education welcomes the delegates, as well as the regional top awardees, their families and the Principals of their schools, to Anguilla.

The Honourable Minister of Education, Mr Edison Baird, has described the hosting of the meetings as an important milestone in the educational history of Anguilla. According to the Honourable Minister, the fact that Anguilla has been chosen to host the meetings is a fitting recognition of the efforts Anguilla is making towards achieving educational maturity. The Minister also indicated that the meetings will provide an opportunity to expose the natural beauty of Anguilla and to showcase various aspects of our culture to our regional colleagues.
The official opening of the 44th Meeting of Council as well as the Regional Top Awards Ceremony will take place on Thursday 6th December 2012. Only invited guests can be accommodated.
