Dr. Clyde Bryan

Anguillian Dr. Clyde L. Bryan, Internist and Chief Physician at The Atlantic Star Center of Medical Excellence in South Hill, has made a significant stride in his professional development. He is one of two international Members of the American College of Physicians (MACP) from the Caribbean who were elected by the Board of Regents to the position of Fellowship in the American College of Physicians (FACP).
The election occurred on November 1, 2012 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The other successful physician is Dr.Komal S. Lawrence of the Cayman Islands.

Dr. Bryan’s recommendation was supported by Dr. Alan Rapoport, Internist, and Dr. Dilla Diaz Garcia, Endocrinologist of Ashford Medical Center, Puerto Rico, as well as by Dr. Mark Lipman, Nephrologist of McGill University, Canada. It was certified locally by Keithly Lake and Associates.

The honour is in recognition of Dr. Bryan’s commitment to the field of internal medicine and its international standards.

A message to Dr. Bryan, from the College reads as follows: “Congratulations on being elected a Fellow in the American College of Physicians. We invite you to participate in the 2013 Convocation for your formal induction as a Fellow. Election to Fellowship is a great accomplishment, and the opportunity to honour your commitment and dedication to internal medicine. The 2013 Convocation will take place on Thursday, April 11, 2013 in San Francisco, California.”

Dr. Bryan’s success is an inspiration to younger Anguillians to aim for excellence always, and an encouragement to the local medical community as well.

Dr. Bryan, who did his medical studies at the prestigious McGill University, is the son of Mr. Darwin Bryan and Mrs. Verna Bryan of Pond Ground, East End.
