Friday 16th November 2012 – The Valley, Anguilla. In a magnificently transformed store which epitomizes the joy and excitement of the Christmas season; Telecommunications provider Digicel unveiled a remarkable 2012 Christmas promotion with a massive launch.
The Digicel Christmas promotion “Share a smile with Digicel this Christmas”gives customers the opportunity to win over $50,000 in cash and prizes.
Mechanics
• Every smile gets a free bingo card
o Top Up Minimum $15 and get 3 letters towards spelling SMILE.
o Top up an additional $15 to get 3 additional letters towards SMILE.
o Top up $25 and get a free bingo card.
o Pay your bill in full and on time to get free bingo cards.
o Subscribe to a new Android prepaid or postpaid service and get a free bingo card (handset and data)
Throughout the next six weeks customers stand to also benefit and smile at the specially discounted handsets and numerous surprises slated for this huge promotion.
Digicel’s Country Manager Mr. John Gidharry started off the first smile as he stated “We are extremely excited about this Christmas promotion as it allow us the perfect opportunity to give back to our valued customers”The country Manager added, “In the midst of our current economic situation we remain convinced that Christmas is a time where there should be an added element of joy in the hearts and minds of all and we are pleased to provide this added excitement”.
Digicel spared no efforts to ensure the launch atmosphere was a truly festive one with the Digicel Santa, Santa’s elves, Digi Girls handing out an array of treats and giveaways. The special smiley cupcakes were the most welcomed treat. In a manner which only Digicel can master, this extravagant launch was immediately followed by an even greater island wide roads show with the music and merriment of the Christmas Season, indeed generating numerous smiles in each community.
With the launch of this Christmas promotion and the upcoming observance of Digicel’s 7th Anniversary, Digicel has promised that this will be a December to remember.
