The Rotaract Club of Anguilla is a non – profit organization, consisting of young adults, ages 18 to 30, who come together for the common goal of serving the local and international communities, and developing leadership and professional skills.
On 2nd October, 2012, the Rotaract Club of Anguilla, made a donation amounting to EC$ 1,344.10 to the Arijah Children’s Foundation. This was the total of the funds raised at the previously held Kids Talent Explosion.
The cheque was presented to Mrs. Renuka Harrigan, President and Founder of the Arijah Children’s Foundation, in the company of her daughter Arijah Harrigan. The Arijah Children’s Foundation is a non – profit organization which aims to serve Anguilla’s children with special needs.
The Rotaract Club of Anguilla plans to hold the Kids Talent Explosion annually, for the sole purpose of raising funds to be donated to the Arijah Children’s Foundation. The second annual Kids Talent Explosion is scheduled to take place on 3rd November, 2012, at the Orealia Kelly Primary School Auditorium, at 7:00 pm. Tickets for this event will be available shortly, and can be obtained from members of the club.
