LIME Anguilla has launched its 2012 Summer Promotion under the slogan “Mega-moments” featuring prizes for customers and explaining how they can participate in the event and be winners.

“It is no accident that we are kicking off our summer promotion in line with the start of carnival,” LIME’s General Manager in Anguilla, Mark Romney, told reporters on July 27. “It is quite a festive mood we are trying to create and, at the same time, we are a platinum sponsor of this year’s carnival celebrations.”

Jade Reymond, LIME’s Retail Sales Associate, said that the three grand prizes were: a seven-dayCaribbeancruise for two persons totalling up to US$5,000; a home entertainment centre; and one year free internet service as well as an Ipad.

In order to be eligible to win the prizes, prepaid customers are required to top up their phones by more than EC$20; customers are to pay their bills on time; new customers are required to sign up for a service and/ or purchase a phone; and customers seeking an extra edge in the competition should text the word “sumfest” to 3100.

The promotion will end on August 31 and the winners will be announced on September 4.

Ms Reymond said two new post-paid phones would be introduced by LIME this summer, one being the Samsung S3. The other is the BlackBerry Jazz 9220 which will be available at the special price of $470. Another phone, the BlackBerry 8520 Curve (with a radio), has a promotional sale price of $399, with a rebate of $150 over a six-month period. In order to be eligible for this phone, customers will have to sign up for a new post-paid service with a two-year contract as well.

Mr. Romney encouraged all persons to participate in the summer promotion, saying there were a number of other prizes and benefits on offer. He added that overall the prizes amounted to some EC$16,000.
