LIME’s contribution to this year’s summer festival included sponsorship of The August Monday A Class Boat Race, the UFO racing boat and repeat Road March and Band Clash champions Pantha Vibes International. Much to the delight of the company, lead vocalist Landvol ‘Pantha’ Hughes also captured the Soca Monarch title and vocalist Fedalia Shereena ‘Shea Shea’Richardsonsnared both the Female Calypso Competition as well as the Calypso Monarch Competition crowns.

Also proudly sponsored by LIME was Miss Anguilla Contestant, Morihinzi Richardson. Morihinzi represented the company beautifully in the Miss Anguilla Pageant where she placed first runner-up. The company also made contributions and donations in cash and kind to several troupes and groups involved in various ways in the Summer Festival activities.

The curtains came down on the Anguilla Summer Festival 2012 with yet another very successful LIME sponsored Leeward Islands Calypso Monarch Competition. LIME takes this opportunity to congratulate all the winners in the various competitions and pageants. We also wish to thank all the participants, without whom there would have been no competitions and the members and chairpersons of the organising committees for jobs well done.

The company has a long and proud history of support for Anguilla’s carnival and boat racing activities and continues to live up to its reputation of being one of the most generous sponsors on the island.
