2012 Prince and Princess winners

On July 29th, 10-year-old Jayvon Lloyd and  10-year-old Kylyiah Baird of the Orealia Kelly Primary School were crowned the winners of the 2012 Prince and Princess Competition gaining a total of 416 points. The first runner up position was seized by the Morris Vanterpool Primary Schoolstudents: 11-year-old Saleem Phillip and 12-year-old Charika Gumbs who attained 350 points.  To conclude the winnings were 11-year-olds Orlisha Hawley and Daron Carty of the Adrian T Hazzell Primary School who scored 327 points.

All contestants received a back to school set with pens, pencils, school bags and notebooks as a participation prize.  In addition each contestant was given a complimentary gift basket from Ricia’s Children’s Place. The first prize winners received laptops, printers, gold bracelets, Kindle Fires, mountain bikes, helmets and a cash prize of US$300.00 The first runner up couple prizes were a Nintendo DS(s), Kindle Fires, silver jewelry set, and a cash prize of US$200.00. The second runner up couple won digital cameras, a cash prize of US$150.00, silvery jewelry set and Kindle Fires.
