Youth leaders in Training on Strategic Management

The Department of Youth and Culture has identified the strengthening of the capacity of young people for effective management, leadership and advocacy as desired outcomes in its youth participation programme. As a means of achieving this objective for 2012, the Department has embarked on a series of training for youth leaders; organisations and agencies which focus on youth development.

The first in the series of training targeted approximately 25 youth leaders and was in the form of a 1 day retreat where the topic of Strategic Management was explored. That training which was held at the Soroptimist Centre, included plenary, theoretical and practical sessions and was facilitated by Mr. Fabian Marcel Fahie.
