Friends and well-wishers with Mr. Uton Rogers and family

Sunshine Rainbow Real Estate is one of the newest 100 percent locally owned business enterprises to hit the market in Anguilla. The proud owner and President is Mr Uton Rogers who has been living in Stoney Ground for the past few years but is originally from Blowing Point.

Rogers spent a quarter of a century (25 years) with the world famous Cap Juluca Resort – starting out at the bottom rung of the ladder and slowly climbed his way up to the position of Assistant Purchasing Manager before resigning recently to start his own business.

“I am grateful to Cap Juluca for the past 25 years of employment. Also to the staff and management…The exposure and experience gained during the time I spent at the resort have better equipped me to manage my new company, Sunshine Rainbow Real Estate,”Rogers said, as he enthusiastically explained his first major business venture in his home country.

A devoted, community minded and well respected family man,  Rogers said he has been fortunate to have met and made many friends during his extensive travel throughout Central and South America, Europe,  Africa and the Far East. He believes that those lasting connections have opened the way and laid the groundwork for him to attract high profile clients to the beautiful shores of Anguilla.

“Despite the tough economic times I believe that, with my connections, I can help to bring about some much needed economic development for the people of Anguilla.”Rogers added, ” I am humbled and gracious to God for helping my family and I start this new venture.”

The young Anguillian entrepreneur, who is now a licensed real estate broker/agent operating an agency, is cognizant of the global economic crisis and by extension its impact on the local economy. “Based on the macro-economic outlook – including the devalued euro which has diminished real estate sales – the local real estate market can thus be termed as unstable, and is likely to continue so with diminished traffic at least throughout this year and beyond,” Rogerscommented.

He said, “With the grace of God vested in me, I am more determined to bring about that spark by aggressively marketing Anguilla throughout the rest of the Caribbean, Europe andAsia.”

“We have a product in Anguilla that is second to none,” said Rogers, adding that he still believes potential clients want to do business in Anguilla and that there is still hope for Anguilla.

Uton Rogers currently assists in the marketing of Villa Modena, The Beach House, Ultimacy Villa and Temenos and several other small properties.

Rogers is also promoting some prime beachfront land ideal for hotel or resort development.
