• Fourteen (14) athletes and officials returned from the CUT Games inJamaicaon Monday 23rd July. Zenoiba Reid won a bronze in Long Jump Under 9 girls and Aidan Hazzard was 3rd in the U 15 boys in the overall points standings.
• Zharnel Hughes and Coach Winston Duncan return to the island on Monday July 23rd from the World Junior Championships inBarcelona,Spain. Mr. Duncan also attended a two day seminar on “youth athletics”. They also took the opportunity to spend a few days in the UK where they met a with track club in the Slough area, they were accommodated by members of the Anguilla –Englandassociation who presented Mr. Hughes with an award for his outstanding achievements in track & field.
• The Anguilla master’s football team participated in theLeeward Islandstournament which was held in St. Maarten from the 20 – 22 July. Nine teams participated in this tournament. Results of the Anguilla matches are as follows.

A number of Anguilla “B” Class boats travelled to St. Martin to participate in the Annual Bastille Day activities held at Grand Case,St. Martin on July 21st 2012. Results not available to date.
Civil Servants Walk-a-Cise
12 Civil Servants participated in an afternoon walk organized by the Department of Sports. Among the few was the Deputy Governor, Mr Stanley Reid. The walks are held monthly to ensure Civil Servants include physical activity in their busy lives.
