Of that number, Detective Inspector Emris Rogers said two were burglaries at NorthValley and Sachasses. The stolen items included jewellery and a 50-inch Panasonic television set.

There were two thefts at South Hill and Roaches Hill. Among the stolen items were a car battery and car parts.

One robbery was reported at Little Dix. The Police were informed that on Thursday night, July 12, a Chinese national was robbed of two hundred dollars while going home. The robbery was committed by a masked person armed with a firearm.

For the second or third time, the Police received a complaint from a cattle owner at George Hill about a suspected case of bestiality.

One case of wounding was reported at Her Majesty’s Prison.

There were six arrests during the period as follows: one male on a default warrant; one for causing grievous bodily harm; another male for being armed with an offensive weapon; and three males for theft.
