Dr Nicholas Carbon’s Colonic Hydrotherapy service has recently been added to a range of wellness activities that can be experienced in Anguilla- an island already known for its healing and restorative powers! Dr Carbon has installed a state of the art “Angel of Water” system in his pretty consulting room in Anacaona Boutique Hotel, at Meads Bayand is offering the service to tourists and locals alike. Dr Carbon is a General Practitioner at the Atlantic Star Clinic in South Hill, Anguilla and he has added this ‘complementary medicine’ to his portfolio of more traditional medical skills because “As a Family Doctor I believe strongly in preventing illness by practicing ‘Preventative Medicine”- it is at the heart of everything I do when providing primary care to my patients”.

Colonic Hydrotherapy is a safe, easy water treatment that cleanses the colon and helps rid you of constipation and its effects – gas, bloating, fatigue, lack of energy, mental cloudiness, skin problems and even bad breath. It has also been linked to prevention of diabetes, colon and prostate cancer and some gynecological conditions. Patients not only feel lighter they rapidly become lighter – losing weight and even inches from their abdomens after one relaxing 45 minute treatment. The comforting and professional bedside manner of Dr Carbon will ease newcomers through this practice which though not often discussed over dinner has a huge following in the health and wellness world.

A recent patient said “After the treatment I felt lighter, cleaned out, I had more energy and felt really good about myself” she went onto say “I’ve been telling everyone not to be shy and to try it out at least once”

The state of the art “Angel of Water” system is the only one in the English speaking Caribbean and is already attracting an enthusiastic following from neighboring island St Martin. Dr Carbon explained that it is perfectly safe to have the treatment as part of a day trip, although many would prefer to add a night or two’s stay at Anacaona Boutique Hotel on Meads Bay where Summer rates for Caribbean Residents start at $135.00. The Hotels owner Robin Ricketts says:  “Many of guests have a strong bias towards wellness and health. We have designed some accommodation and wellness packages for those who want to experience not only the colonic hydrotherapy but also health consultations, rejuvenating massages, spa treatments, yoga, juicing and special diets.”

One Angel of Water session for Caribbean Residents costs US100 and all are welcome.  To find out more or to book a treatment or a wellness package please call Anacaona Boutique Hotel on 264 497 6827 or contact Dr Carbon direct on 264 584 6758.  www.anacaonahotel.com
