The Anguilla Amateur Body Building & Body Fitness Federation held their 11th Annual Body Building and Fitness Competition at the Rodney McArthur Rey Auditorium on Saturday July 7, 2012.
Twelve athletes competed in five different categories: Female Open Fitness – Roxanne Pinnock, Delvicia McDonna and Diedra Bell; Male Juniors Class – Geshaune Clarke and Jovian Collaire; Lightweight Class – Geshauwn Clarke, Jovian Collaire, Duquaine Brooks and Michael (Mikey) Connor; Open Class – Vernon Connor (Twidy), Horace Edwards and Michael Connor; and for the first time Mr. Physique – Myron Connor, Machiwir Lewis and Csaer(Chez) Wattley.
The results (top three places) were as follows.
Fitness – Roxanne Pinnock, Delvicia McDonna and Diedra Bell: first, second and third respectively.
Juniors – Geshaune Clarke and Jovian Collaire: first and second respectively.
Light – Geshaune Clarke, Michael Connor andDuquaineBrooks: first, second, and third respectively.
Open –Vernon (Twidy) Carty, Michael Connor and Horace Edwards: first, second and third respectively.
Mr. Physique – Myron Connor, Machiwir Lewis and Csaer Wattley: first, second and third respectively.
Mr. Geshaune Clarke also won the overall category becoming the new Mr. Anguilla 2012-2013 Champion.
The audience was entertained by our very own local Pro Body Builder guest poser, Mr. Verdine Connor, who recently won the Muscle Mania Middleweight class earning his pro card. He was recognized by the Association for his growth and achievements, both locally and abroad, over the past years.
We also had for the first time our very own IFBB Pro Judge in the person of Mrs. Celest Pradel. We would like to extend to her congratulations on earning her pro judge card at the recently held inter-island competition inSt. Martinon June 30th.

Later this year some of our athletes will be representing Anguilla at the 40th Central American and Caribbean Championship Games (CAC) to be held in Puerto Rico from 20th to 22nd September.
