
The Governor’s Office announced on June 15 that the Governor of Anguilla, His Excellency Alistair Harrison, was appointed a Companion of the Order of St.Michael and St. George (CMG) in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List 2012.
The CMG is conferred on persons who render extraordinary or important non-military service in a foreign country or for important or loyal service in relation to Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs.
Governor Harrison was previously appointed a Commander of the Victorian Order (CVO). He became Governor of Anguilla in April 2009.
