President of the Anguilla Masters Cricket Association, Calvin Hughes, said that originally there were to have been eight teams participating in the tournament, but the number subsequently fell to five. He was grateful to all the players, spectators and other persons who had contributed to the success of the tournament and looked forward to next year’s match.
The awards ceremony was presided over by Alkins Rogers. He was particularly pleased with the support from “the ladies of the tournament” who travelled with the teams, from Anguilla and the other islands, over the years.
