Dr. Ellis Lorenzo Webster (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon) and his wife, Dr. Marjorie J. Webster (Pediatrician), attended a private fundraiser on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, inPalm Beach Gardens,Florida, with President Barack Obama, Senator Bill Nelson and Congress woman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Chairperson, Democratic National Committee).
The Websters joined a small group of businessmen, doctors, lawyers and energy executives interested in the President’s focus on energy initiatives, healthcare reform, small businesses, job creation, immigration and the economy.
President Obama gave a detailed speech and answered many specific questions which solidified the support for his re-election.
Dr. E. Webster, wearing the Anguilla flag lapel pin, was able to introduce Anguilla as a tourist destination and a small island economy, dependent on a boisterous U.S.economy. This initiative should help to form alliances which will be beneficial to Anguilla’s improved future.
