Over sixty athletes from Anguilla journeyed toSt. Martinon Saturday April 14th to participate in the 11th edition of the AVenir Sportif Club De St. Martin. Anguilla’s dominance was evident from the first running event.  Anguillian athletes placed in the top three positions for every event they participated in.

Outstanding performances were produced by Carifta games bronze medalist, Zharnel Hughes, and teammate Rechelle Mead.  Both won their 100m races by a wide margin.   Other notable performances were produced by Jonicia Richardson, Raymel Niles, Aiden Hazzard and Mauriel Carty.

The Anguilla Amateur Athletics Federation would like to express sincere thanks to all the athletes, coaches and guardians who followed the track team to the meet.  A special thanks is also extended to the operators of the Deluxe ferry for assisting in transporting the athletes toSt. Martin.
