During the life of the promotion, twenty (20) Digicel customers and three (3) patrons from each of the hosting supermarkets had a chance to win over $20,000 in groceries.  Each week three Digicel customers competed for three prizes; first prize $1,000 shopping spree at hosting supermarket, second prize $500 shopping spree at hosting supermarket and third prize $100 credit on their Digicel Mobile.   In true Digicel fashion the promotion ended on a high note where a member of Digicel’s staff, Mr. Rhon Rogers did an honorary sweep from which the groceries were donated to the Miriam Gumbs Senior Citizens Home. The head nurse of the home Mrs. Coreen Hodge expressed her gratitude and said that the supplies were well received and would be put to good use.

Country Manager Digicel Anguilla, John Gidharry said that “At Digicel, we are always looking at ways in which we can give back to our customers and we will continue pursue new ways to serve the communities in which we operate. Supporting the Senior Citizens home is one of the many ways we have demonstrated that commitment”.  Mr. Gidharry went on to say that Digicel has always set the tone in Anguilla for innovation and promotions, product and service offerings. I urge you our existing and potential customers to tune onto Digicel as there will be much more in store.
