Many persons from throughout Anguilla, and in particular the Sandy Hill and East End communities, converged on the grounds of the Old East End School on Friday, March 2, to celebrate the 86th birthday of Revolutionary Leader, James Ronald Webster.
The sporting and health fair event was part of the official observance of Mr. Webster’s birthday which was marked by a parade at the Webster Park. Many of the attendees were also involved in an island-wide motorcade which ended at East End.
Jerome Roberts, Elected Representative for the district, and one of the event organisers, thanked those in attendance for showing their appreciation of Mr. Webster. The Revolutionary Leader, who attended the function, accompanied by his wife, was grateful to all for their show of goodwill and love.
