NBA Celebrates its 27th Anniversary

NBA Staff worships at St. Mary's Anglican Church

Twenty seven years ago, the National Bank of Anguilla Ltd, opened its doors to customers, thus embarking on a journey that eight promoters and other supporters envisioned would be of great benefit to the people of Anguilla and the Island as a whole.  Thousands of Anguillians today, through the purchase of shares are proud owners of a Bank that stands by its motto:  “More than Banking.  A Commitment to Anguilla’s Development.”

Over the years, NBA has grown tremendously in its physical, technological and human capacity to serve its customers and is well-known for its innovative products and services that have enabled the institution to be a leader in the Anguilla Banking Sector.  The Board of Directors, Shareholders, Management and Staff today stand proud of the accomplishments of the Bank since inception in 1984.

In honor of its 27th anniversary, on Sunday March 4, 2012 the Directors, Management and Staff joined the congregation of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in the Valley where they gave thanks for the good grace and mercies bestowed upon the institution for the past 27 years.

 

In recognition of the outstanding support of its customers throughout the years the Bank hosted its 5th Annual Customer Appreciation Day at both branches on Thursday March 8th, 2012.  During the event, members of staff served customers with light refreshments and distributed a small token of appreciation to all who attended.  The Bank is most grateful for the support of the Anguilla community over the years and has pledged to continue working on improving the institution to better meet the needs of its customers while benefiting its shareholders.

Mr. E Valentine Banks, CEO of the National Bank of Anguilla Ltd commented, “It is with a sense of great pride that we celebrate our 27th Anniversary here today.  Our successes are a true testament to the hard work and commitment of our employees and or Boards of Directors past and present who have worked tirelessly over the years to improve the customer experience at NBA. ” He continued, “We say thank you to all our customers.  You are the reason we open our doors at 8:00 am Monday to Friday and are excited about providing an alternate means of additional service around the clock outside of normal banking hours.”

Throughout the 27 years of service, NBA has been blessed with two locations, over 8  ATM’s across Anguilla;  Online Banking; Cheque Deposit Lobby Drop Box;   a wide array of savings options for adults and children alike among many other products and services.
